JSC First Touch Force
Who should join this group?
- This program is for youth soccer players ages 3-4 years old who are looking to learn the basics needed to play the game of soccer.
- All players must be 3 years of age by August 1, 2016.
- Note: Each player must have a parent/guardian in attendance at all times, and parent participation may be necessary during any of the session.
What will they be doing?
- In this program the players will learn the basic, individual soccer skills such as dribbling, passing, receiving and shooting.
- Topics covered will include:
- dribbling,
- spatial awareness,
- ball control,
- shooting,
- coordination,
- balance,
- flexibility,
- mobility,
- agility, etc.
- The sessions will be run by a JSC coach that is a certified NSCAA and/or USSF licensed youth soccer coach.
Where will this happen?
- The practice sessions will all be held at Dupree Park Soccer Complex on fields 1, 2, and 3.
When will practice be?
- Saturday mornings from 9:30am - 10:30am
Cost and what does it cover?
- $65.00/per season, which last 6 weeks. This covers the player's club uniform (jersey, shorts, socks); ASSA player, team, and insurance fees, JP&R field usage fees, coach education, equipment, etc.
About the program:
- The program curriculum was designed by Jennifer Pfeiffer, the Arkansas State Soccer Association Director of Coaching and the assistant coach for the Little Rock Rangers.
